Office Manager (12-month Maternity Leave position)

AFAP is currently looking for an Office Manager to run our busy office in St. Leonards when our current Office Manager goes on Maternity Leave.

The Office Manager will be responsible for the smooth running of the office including:

  • premises & facilities;
  • office equipment procurement;
  • management of company email & server (training will be provided);
  • travel;
  • supervising Assistant &
  • all other administration work.

Requirements:

  • Must have Australian citizenship or valid working visa
  • Minimum 4 years experience in senior level administration, secretarial, Office management.
  • Intermediate MS Office
  • Filemaker Pro, the use of Macs & being computer savvy is advantageous
  • Minimum typing of 50+ wpm
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly organised with ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
  • Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and work autonomously

Conditions of Employment:

Employment will be on a full-time basis with a probationary period of three months.  Office hours are 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
