Identifying the need for medical equipment and supplies in developing countries, a group of doctors working for AFAP began collecting donations from Australian hospitals and the public to reinvest into the health systems of developing countries. From here, the Medical Supplies and Services (MSS) was born.
Since its inception, the program has expanded to include the procurement and shipment of much needed educational supplies to as well.

Medical Supplies and Services in Sri Lanka
A shipment was dispatched to the east coast (Kulmanai, Ampara district). Recipients were the Base Hospital and Ashraff Hospitals.
School equipment was also distributed to a number of schools damaged in the tsunami. |
