Donate

Every year, our fundraising efforts provide important resources for development and poverty alleviation projects across dozens of countries, in association with our Community Partners all over Australia.

We can’t do this valuable work without your continuing support. We welcome your contribution either to any of our projects or to our general fund via our donation form.

Thank you for your generosity.

Use of your Donation

While we will endeavour to distribute your donation in accordance with your preference, we must retain a discretion at all times whether or not to distribute the donation in accordance with that preference.  AFAP allows donated property to be used only for benevolent activities.

AFAP welcomes donations to help cover our general administration costs (which are always less than 10% of AFAP’s total budget).

For the avoidance of any doubt, the above statements override any other statement on this website or in any other material which you may see, or have seen, in relation to your donation.

Donations to our Community Partners

AFAP and its Community Partners work in collaboration with local communities to deliver development initiatives overseas.

AFAP is committed to supporting effective development programs overseas and closely monitors all the work we undertake including initiatives undertaken as part of Community Partner Program.

Many Community Partners do not have DGR status in their own right and are relying on AFAP’s DGR endorsed status by the ATO, therefore any donations to support the activities of these Community Partners must be made through AFAP in order to be tax deductible.

Whilst AFAP will endeavour to comply with the wishes of the donor, AFAP retains a discretion at all times whether or not to distribute donated property in accordance with the preference expressed by the donor.

AFAP allows donated property to be used only for benevolent activities.

For more information on how to donate, please contact AFAP or the relevant Community Partner.
