Community Health Education Project

Timor Leste

In order to increase life expectancy and decrease death rates, this health education project is increasing public knowledge on reproductive health, safe motherhood and disease prevention. This is achieved by training local NGOs and other organisations to be rural health educators and through the production of health education information for public use. The project works closely with the Ministry of Health and organisations that are active in the districts and villages.
