This program addresses the threats to peace and sustainable development by fostering or ‘gardening’ good governance within communities in four Pacific nations — Fiji, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and Kiribati. The program facilitates local community planning and decision-making through the creation and implementation of community action plans.
