Kiribati’s 88,500 inhabitants live on a landmass of only 811 square kilometres throughout the 33 islands.


Along with our local partner FSP Kiribati (FSPK), AFAP focuses on health, the environment and recycling, food security, training and capacity building.

FSP Kiribati (FSPK) is dedicated to community outreach, education and training to improve the quality of life for the people of Kiribati. Activities focus on health, the environment, gardening for food production, counsellor training, disaster preparedness and response, research and development, good governance and capacity building.
