Partners for Development
Partners for Development (PFD) works with under-served populations in Cambodia to improve quality of life and implements an integrated program in public health, education, and agriculture. Most of PFD’s current public health work in Cambodia focuses on malaria prevention and treatment in Kratie and Koh Kong provinces with approximately 135,000 people impacted by this activity.
Project Cambodia
The Buddhist Library Cambodia Project is involved in health and education. The construction of concrete rainwater tanks at schools in 4 provinces has resulted in an improvement in children’s health since they are now drinking clean water. English, computer and sewing classes are now possible in the evenings since the installation of solar panels in several schools. Children come on foot or by bicycle from miles around to participate in these free classes.
The Buddhist Library Cambodia Project is supported by AFAP and the Buddhist Library of Sydney and Paget Sayers.
